Local road route -- Start at the intersection of Wolf River Blvd and Houston Levee Road
Go north on Houston Levee Road for about 2.7 miles,
Turn left (west) onto Walnut Grove Road, travel about 12.4 miles
Caution: Be aware of road construction as you approach Interstate 240.
Turn left (south) onto Highland Street, travel one block to the next traffic light,
Turn right (west) onto Poplar Avenue, travel about 2.7 miles,
Stay on Highway 72 / Poplar Ave until you reach Overton Park.
This will be all city driving.
You will first see Overton Park on your right (north) at the corner of East Parkway and Poplar Avenue.
Turn right (north) onto East Parkway, travel about four-tenths mile,
Turn left (west) into Overton Park.
Look for the children's playground equipment. Park near the round pavillion

Exit right (east) onto Interstate 240 towards Nashville,
At the I-240/I-40 junction, take the exit to Sam Cooper Blvd (west).
Stay on Sam Cooper Blvd about 5.7 miles until it ends at East Parkway,
Turn left (south) onto East Parkway, travel about one-tenth mile.
Soon after you turn onto East Parkway, you will turn right (west) into Overton Park. Look for the children's playground equipment. Park near the round pavillion.
